Botox treatment is a relatively low risk method for anti-wrinkle treatment when provided by a specially trained and experienced doctor.
After the injection, redness and swelling more or less recedes within a few minutes. Sometimes small superficial bruises can also occur, which disappear within a few days. In rare cases, headaches may occur temporarily (1-2 days).
Allergic reactions, itching or rashes are extremely rare.
In exceptional cases, complications such as temporary drooping of the eyebrow or upper eyelid may occur. The more experienced the injecting physician, the less likely these complaints are. Infections or temporary paralysis occur very rarely.
All side effects are not permanent as the effect of Botox is temporary.
